The Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center is a new hub for collaborative learning at UMD in the heart of McKeldin Mall. The building supports a diverse range of formal and informal collaborative learning environments. The exterior of the building is contextual with the historic character of the campus while the interior boasts open, expansive spaces with transparency and visual connectivity through double-height classrooms and atriums. Each learning space was designed to accommodate adaptability and support a diverse range of pedagogical approaches.
