ESJ does not have an exclusive catering agreement with any company or restaurant. Only UMD Dining Services may serve alcohol in ESJ. The event organizer is solely responsible for procuring safe and certified catering services. All set-up, service, and clean-up must be completed within the event timeline outlined in the User Agreement.

There are no tables in ESJ available for catering set-up. All tables must be brought in by the event organizer. Catering tables may only be set up in designated locations agreed upon by the operations manager and outlined in the User Agreement.

Events that include catering will be required to pay a rental fee for use of the public space.

All deliveries/loading and unloading can occur at the delivery entrance on the east side of the building, facing Symon’s Hall.
