National Landing is quickly becoming the cyber valley of the DMV, a center for innovation and entrepreneurship.  Companies such as Amazon’s HQ2, Boeing, and PBS reside in the area.  Located next to the Pentagon and Reagan National Airport, UMD’s presence at National Landing provides the UMD community with access to strategic networking and educational opportunities.  You can find out more about the ongoing developments at National Landing here.

All UMD academic units and departments can reserve space at UMD National Landing for UMD-related activities.  UMD’s space at National Landing offers an excellent location for lectures, conferences, symposiums, meetings, and a place to hang out between tasks.  Space availability can be viewed here. Simply type NL in the locations search bar and click Search. Email nationallanding@umd.edu or call 301.405.4702 to reserve space.

At this time, student groups cannot reserve space at National Landing without sponsorship from an academic unit or department.
 

UMD is certified to operate academic programs at National Landing by the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV).

If requesting delivery, have a key pass holder meet the delivery person in the circle driveway in front of the 241 S 18th Street building (lobby or “L” level for the 241 building elevators) and escort the delivery person to the suite.
